Job Details

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Agent to support procurement activities and ensure the timely acquisition of materials, products, and services. This role works closely with suppliers, operations, inventory teams, and internal stakeholders to maintain stock levels, negotiate pricing, and support business objectives.

Schedule: Monday-Friday
8am-5pm

Key Responsibilities

• Source and purchase materials, equipment, and supplies based on operational needs.
• Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and purchasing terms.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities.
• Track orders and resolve shipping, delivery, or quality issues.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier documentation.
• Collaborate with internal departments to forecast purchasing requirements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, buying, or supply chain experience.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, construction, or warehouse environments preferred.
• Knowledge of vendor management, inventory control, and purchase order processes.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
