Calibration Technician IChatsworth, CAFull time – Temp to hireMonday thru Friday – 7am to 4pm$22hr to $24hr depending on experience.A world leader in the fields of sensors, data acquisition and analytics, providing services and collaboration for various research and development, production, and operation applications, is seeking a Calibration Technician I to join their team in Chatsworth.SummaryThe entry level Calibration Technician is responsible for performing calibration on accelerometers, force and pressure sensors. This role calculates and recommends the necessary changes to meet the product specifications in accordance with ISO 17025 and per Manufacturing procedures.Responsibilities:Performs final screening and pre-calibration duties per the product specificationsUtilizes standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and frequency generatorsPerform error free production testing in an assigned area with limited cross functional interfaceMeasure and record data per work instruction requirements.Measure and create calibration certificates on a day-to-day basis.Provide daily support to meet production demand.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Assist other Calibration Technicians and other departments, on an as needed basis.Perform administrative functions such as sorting, filing, etc.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:AS-AA Electronics degree in electronics from a technical/ vocational school; or 1-3 years of Calibration experience; or any combination of education and experience.Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 17025 a plus.Knowledge of the electronic principals (Ohms Law, Electronic Definitions, Resistance, frequency, period, series, parallel, AC and DC voltages).Ability to read and understand engineering assembly drawings and schematics.Familiar with standard test equipment such as oscilloscope's, voltmeters, and frequency generators.
