Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Production Technician. \n

\nThe hourly rate for this position is 19.52 per hour. \n

\nThis position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.\n

\nThe core hours for this role are 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM\n
\n

\nEaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. What you'll do: \n
\n
\nEaton's Mobility Group is currently seeking a Production Technician. This position is based at our Athens, GA location. We make superchargers for high performance engines at this facility. \n
\n
\nThe Production Technician will operate safely and efficiently with various manufacturing and CNC equipment and related systems. They will also ensure compliance with all quality standards of finished parts produced and operate manufacturing equipment to permit high rates of efficiency in a safe working environment. \n
\n
What you'll do: \n
\n• Responsible for the production and assembly of high-pex`rformance superchargers and associated components, meeting quantity and quality expectations while ensuring the safety of yourself and others. Responsible to work within established quality and EBS systems.\n
\n
\n• Maintain production records for assigned position. Participate in a team environment. Complete daily tasks in compliance with work standards. Utilize work instructions for proper procedures for assigned position.\n
\n
\n• We have several work streams, you may work in assembly, test, and machining. Training on the job will be provided for each work area. \n
\n• Comply with all standard EHS practices and guidelines, and all Company guidelines and policies.\n
\n• Monitor and maintain efficient manufacturing equipment, manual and automatic gauging systems, and material handling system operations. Perform all checking and gauging functions to ensure machines are running within specifications. Operate multiple machines simultaneously.\n
\n• Perform adjustments to machine operation to ensure parts are within allowable tolerances including performing adjustments and offsets to machines and monitor conditions of tooling.\n
\n• Perform machine changeovers, and change tool inserts as needed. \n
\n• Identify potential equipment problems and report potential equipment problems to maintenance. Work directly with peers , Maintenance, Quality and Leadership Team members to problem solve and correct production-related issues.\n
\n• Comply with all IATF16949 standards and quality requirements, including visual requirements. Stop and correct job operation if product quality is affected negatively.\n
\n• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area including equipment. Adhere to Eaton's 5S+ Workplace Organizational Program. Perform operator-related preventative maintenance and cleaning as required.\n
\n
Qualifications: \n
\n
Required (Basic) Qualifications: \n
\n• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and/or in the future\n
\n• High school diploma or equivalent required\n
\n• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience\n
\n• Working knowledge of production equipment and CNC machinery. Ability to run, set-up and change-over equipment.\n
\n• Able to lift parts up to 50 lbs. frequently, may include pushing and pulling of 50 lbs frequently\n
\n• Must live within 50 miles of the site location\n
\n
Skills: \n
\n
\n• Ability to use personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, gloves, apron, hard hat and chemical face shield required depending on task.\n
\n• Ability to understand SDS sheets. \n
\n• Ability to Lockout/tag-out equipment. \n
\n• Ability to use hand tools, and follow blueprints, diagrams, schematics, measuring instruments and gauges, calipers, micrometers, comparators, and equipment operations manuals.\n
\n
