NOW HIRING: RN UNIT MANAGER Aventura at West Park LEAD WITH PURPOSE Aventura at West Park is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Unit Manager to provide clinical leadership and support the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care. The RN Unit Manager will oversee daily nursing operations on the assigned unit while supporting nursing staff, residents, and families. WHY JOIN OUR TEAM? Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure quality resident care. Coordinate daily nursing activities and assignments based on resident needs. Monitor residents' conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented. Review and maintain accurate clinical documentation and nursing records. Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings. Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and other members of the healthcare team. Monitor medication administration, treatments, and nursing practices for compliance with facility policies. Assist with staff education, training, and performance development. Address resident and family concerns professionally and promptly. Monitor staffing needs and assist with maintaining appropriate coverage. Support compliance with applicable federal, state, and facility regulations. Assist with quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Promote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment. QUALIFICATIONS Current, active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Graduate of an approved nursing program. Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or a similar healthcare setting preferred. Previous experience as a Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Unit Manager, or in a nursing leadership role required Strong knowledge of nursing practices, resident care, and regulatory requirements. Experience with care planning, assessments, clinical documentation, and coordination of resident care. Knowledge of MDS and interdisciplinary care planning preferred. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to supervise and motivate nursing staff. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
