Senior Building Automation Field Service Engineer (02030)

About the Role Entensiv is looking for a Senior Building Automation Service Engineer to join our growing team. This is a hands-on technical role for an experienced BAS professional who thrives on solving complex system challenges, building strong client relationships, and owning projects from start to finish.
About Entensiv We're a Boston-based Building Automation service and engineering firm. Controls are our core business — we serve universities, research facilities, healthcare environments, and commercial buildings where system reliability and performance are non-negotiable.
Our work centers on troubleshooting complex systems, improving building performance, and supporting clients over the long term. Many of our client relationships have grown into multi-year partnerships built on trust and consistent results.

What You'll Do
- Diagnose and resolve complex BAS issues across a diverse portfolio of facilities
- Program, configure, and commission BAS controllers and sequences of operation
- Interface directly with clients and project teams to communicate findings and solutions
- Support teammates in the field with knowledge sharing and collaborative troubleshooting
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of Building Automation field service experience
- 5+ years of BAS programming experience
- Strong proficiency with Johnson Controls Facilities Explorer / Metasys / CCT
- Experience troubleshooting BAS communication networks (BACnet MS/TP & IP)
- Solid HVAC system knowledge and control theory fundamentals
- Ability to manage small projects independently from start to finish
- Clear, professional communication with clients and internal teams
