About the Position

Opportunity:

Interventional Rad Tech Radiology

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts with start times ranging from 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, or 8:30 AM
• Weekend hours are call only
• 1 call night per week and 1 weekend every 5 weeks with additional on-call responsibilities on a rotational basis as needed
• Float to Interventional Pain Clinic as required
• Operate GE Innova imaging equipment
• Use Cerner electronic health record system
• Work in a unit with 5 exam rooms and 1 specials room
• Perform and assist with peripheral interventions, biopsies, venous and arterial thrombolysis, EVARs, MMAs, and drains/drainage procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and scrub for a variety of interventional radiology procedures
• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
• Must have proficiency in BLS, radiology, equipment operation, and sterile technique
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT Registry or equivalent
• Hospital-provided scrubs required; standard surgical attire expected
• Must be willing to work in several different situations and with different providers and staff
