Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact as a passionate School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting students in a welcoming educational community near Maple Grove, MN. This contract opportunity runs from late August 2026 through early June 2027, providing support across two dynamic school settings: Northdale Middle School (0.7 FTE) and Andover Elementary/High School. Engage in collaborative environments dedicated to helping children advance their communication skills and academic success.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Active Minnesota SLPA license (must be in hand at application; pending licensure will not be considered)
- SLPA dual certification clearly displayed on license PDF
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work onsite five days per week in a structured school setting
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
- Must submit a current resume and PDF of MN SLPA license with application
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Support the implementation of IEP goals and help tailor interventions to individual student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records for each assigned student
- Collaborate positively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student progress
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
