Supreme Dumplings is a thriving restaurant known for its exquisite dumplings and authentic Chinese cuisine. We take pride in our commitment to quality, exceptional service, and creating a memorable dining experience for our customers.
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and service-oriented Host to join our team! As the first point of contact for our guests, the Host plays a key role in creating a welcoming and seamless dining experience. If you're passionate about hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and make them feel welcome.
- Understand and accommodate guests' dining needs.
- Manage the waitlist and accurately estimate wait times.
- Maintain and manage the seating chart to ensure an efficient flow.
- Monitor restaurant activity and adjust seating accordingly.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and requests.
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations or general questions.
- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Support team members with side work such as cleaning, stocking, and handling to-go orders.
- Collaborate with team members and departments to maintain smooth operations and a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- A positive attitude and team-first mindset
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
