Senior Lead Enterprise Architect

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require formal training or certification in architecture concepts, along with 5+ years of applied experience in technology architecture, strategy, and engineering.
• We are looking for experience defining and executing architecture strategies across multiple domains in large, complex organizations.
• You should be advanced in one or more programming languages and bring deep expertise in enterprise architecture, applications, and technical processes within at least one technical discipline such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile.
• We need demonstrated experience using enterprise-approved AI capabilities in architecture and engineering workflows, with strong validation practices and awareness of data sensitivity.
• You should be able to evaluate and integrate AI-enabled capabilities into enterprise-grade architectures while meeting resiliency, security, and auditability requirements.
• We expect proven experience guiding enterprise technology adoption, including target states, patterns, paved paths, and scalable integration.
• You should have depth in a core technical area such as cloud, application, data/AI, or platform architecture, together with broad enterprise perspective.
• We need a strong understanding of business, data, application, and technology architecture domains, plus excellent communication skills for senior and non-technical audiences.
• You must be able to influence business and technology leaders and drive change across engineering and product organizations.
• We look for experience developing implementable standards and paved paths with measurable adoption outcomes.
• You should have experience embedding risk, control, compliance, and resilience considerations into architecture practices.
• Preferred: experience with formal architecture governance frameworks such as TOGAF or equivalent.
• Preferred: exposure to modern paradigms including cloud, AI/data, distributed systems, and platform-based architectures.
• Preferred: experience with engineering practices and software development such as CI/CD, IaC, and observability.
• Preferred: relevant certifications such as TOGAF, cloud, ITIL, CISSP, or PMP.
• Preferred: a track record of driving enterprise-wide initiatives that improve consistency, reuse, and efficiency.
• Preferred: experience working in regulated environments, including operational resilience and third-party or concentration risks.

• We lead and contribute to architecture governance forums to guide decisions and maintain consistency at enterprise scale.
• We define enterprise architecture strategies, reference architectures, target states, and roadmaps aligned to firmwide priorities.
• We leverage enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate architecture analysis and decision-making while validating outputs and handling sensitive data appropriately.
• We evaluate current and emerging technologies using existing standards and frameworks, influencing peers and decision-makers to adopt leading-edge solutions where appropriate.
• We drive decisions that shape product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes.
• We serve as a function-wide subject matter expert and contribute to the architecture community as a firmwide advocate.
• We establish reuse-first, AI-enabled architecture patterns and governance across practices, ensuring traceability, auditability, resiliency, and strong architecture discipline.
• We create adoptable standards, architecture patterns, and paved paths, using metrics to encourage adoption and reuse.
• We drive alignment across architecture disciplines and partner with engineering and product teams while identifying opportunities for simplification, modernization, and optimization.
• We assess emerging technology implementation options, including platform choices, preferred use cases, and adoption paths, ensuring they withstand scrutiny.
• We advise executives on architecture strategy and direction, framing trade-offs across cost, complexity, risk, and business value while mentoring architects toward an outcome-focused community.
