As a Tax Director, you will:

• Provide strategic tax planning, compliance, and advisory services for a diverse client base.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing tax team while fostering a collaborative and growth-focused culture.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by proactively identifying opportunities, mitigating risks, and delivering value-added tax solutions.
• Oversee and review complex tax engagements, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, with a focus on long-term growth and retention.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to develop business strategies and contribute to overall firm growth.
• Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate their impact to clients and staff.
• Play an active role in business development efforts, including networking, proposals, and client presentations

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in tax, including supervisory responsibilities
• Bachelor's degree in accounting required
• Active CPA license required
• Deep technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws, compliance, and planning.
• Strong leadership and team development skills with a proven ability to mentor and grow professionals.
• Excellent client service, relationship management, and communication skills.
• Business development experience with a successful track record of winning and growing client engagements.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality.
