Job Summary Part‑time student assistant (≥12 credit hours) needed during peak work‑load periods to assist with planting and harvesting in the Georgia Peanut Breeding Program at the Coastal Plain Experiment Station, Tifton Campus. Duties & Responsibilities Follow oral instructions closely from technical staff while maintaining genetic purity and sample identity at all times. Lift, stand, bend, climb, estimate and work outside in all weather conditions. Operate various farm machines or small‑plot equipment. Schedule & Work Hours Time available to work requires mornings (8-12 am) or afternoons (1-5 pm) during M, T, W, Th, and F with a maximum of 20 hrs/week. Physical Demands Lifting, standing, bending, climbing, etc. and working outside in all weather conditions. Driving may be required. Required Qualifications Knowledge of operating various farm machines or small‑plot equipment would be desirable.
