Sidelines Sports Eatery & Pub – Bartender Job Description Sidelines Sports Eatery & Pub, a great neighborhood pub with a sports theme, offers an extensive craft beer selection, great food and sports galore! We are seeking energetic, customer service driven Bartenders to join our Team providing the fun, food, drink and service that keep our guests coming back! Bartender Position Summary The Sidelines Bartender enthusiastically provides an excellent guest drinking and dining experience. Our skilled Bartenders must be able to create classic and innovative cocktails, has extensive beer and wine knowledge as well as full knowledge of our standard menu and daily specials. Requirements / Qualifications Bartending experience in a full service restaurant preferred, not required. Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons. Interact with Guests, take orders and serve food and drinks. Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations. Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age. Protects establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies. Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies, maintaining orderly bar. Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of basic math skills. Ability to work effectively within a team. Comply with all food and beverage regulations. Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to restaurant manager. Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive with guests and the staff. Must work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. as needed. Fun and rewarding place to work!
