Nursing Assistant

The nursing assistant performs specific responsibilities under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. Functions within the framework of the NAI listing granted by the NC Department of Health and Human Services. Practices within the philosophy and goals of patient care services. In addition, the nursing assistant may be utilized in the observer role responsible for monitoring one or more assigned patients on a designated unit for a specified time period.

In partnership with Women's Services, we provide comprehensive maternal care across labor and delivery and mother-baby services, with specialized clinical expertise to support high-risk pregnancies and complex deliveries. Using the latest technologies and highly trained personnel, our child-centered clinical care is unrivaled. The facilities and pediatric services are strategically designed to meet the unique needs of children actively involving families from start to finish.
