Job Summary

This is a Cath Lab RN travel contract opportunity at an acute hospital in Anchorage, AK. The facility is a Magnet Facility, Level II Trauma Center, and USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska, with 407 total staffed beds. First-time travelers are accepted for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Cath Lab nursing care within scope of practice to meet facility needs
• Participate in on-call rotation: 1 day per week and every 4th/5th weekend (Friday at 1800Monday at 0730)
• Work approximately 1 Saturday per month as part of the scheduled 4 shifts/week
• Float within scope to EP or IR as needed to meet facility needs

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• On-call availability required: 1 day per week and 4th/5th weekend
• Weekend availability required (on-call and approximately 1 Saturday per month)
• Ability to float to EP or IR within scope

Education Requirements

• AK RN License required (pending AK license accepted; must have license in hand for Auto Offer)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience required

• Locals Not Accepted: Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• Pending License: Pending AK RN license accepted; must have license in hand for Auto Offer
• Block Schedule: Not available
• RTO Restrictions: Time off approved on an individual basis upon offer. Only 1 time off request per 13-week assignment
• Guaranteed Hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks traveler can be called off for 1, 10-hour shift per 2 weeks
