Patient Care Tech PRN As a Patient Care Technician at Valley Regional Medical Center, you will support the nursing care team by delivering hands‑on care and creating a safe, welcoming environment for patients. Responsibilities Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth procedures and recovery. Provide non‑medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices. Keep patient areas, operating rooms, and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency. Manage supplies, equipment, and environmental logs to keep the team ready and protect patients through infection control. Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team while promoting safety and quality efforts. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
