School Nutrition Dietitian

Chartwells K12 is hiring for a School Nutrition Dietitian position in Fort Worth ISD. Online applications are accepted only. An internal employee referral bonus is available.

Job Summary

Dietitian Education Sector

Job Responsibilities:

• Create and manage special diet menus for students with allergies or medical conditions.
• Ensure menus meet compliance standards using internal menu software.
• Collaborate with the child nutrition team to support food service operations.
• Train staff on food allergy procedures and program compliance.
• Lead student nutrition education initiatives.
• Conduct internal audits and ensure USDA school meal program compliance.
• Research and apply for grants to support district nutrition goals.
• Participate in community events as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and Registered Dietitian in accordance with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, required.
• Master's degree, preferred.
• Two to three years of professional experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficient computer skills, required.
• Food Handlers Certificate, required.
