Pediatric RN - Hematology/Oncology

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a Hematology/Oncology unit. This position requires a minimum of two years of pediatric inpatient experience, with a preference for candidates who have specialized knowledge in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. The RN must be comfortable working with high flow nasal cannulas, tracheostomies, gastro nasogastric tubes (g-tubes), and jejunostomy tubes (j-tubes).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the Hematology/Oncology unit.
• Monitor patient vitals and administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for documentation and reporting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric inpatient experience required.
• Pediatric Hematology/Oncology experience preferred.
• BLS and PALS certifications are mandatory.
• EPIC experience is required.
• Current RN license in the relevant state.

Schedule

This position will follow a night shift schedule, specifically from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Guarantee of 36 hours per week with a contract length of 13 weeks.
