Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Expertly conduct a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations, clearly explaining each procedure with empathy
• Work synergistically with radiologists and referring providers to yield high-quality diagnostic imagery
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring operational excellence
• Document procedures meticulously and uphold patient confidentiality within the electronic medical record system
• Continue to educate yourself on advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion is desirable

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
