Travel Physical Therapist - $2,457 per week

Job Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an immediate opening in Walsenburg, Colorado. The assignment lasts 13 weeks at 40 hours per week on 8‑hour shifts. Pay is based on shift hours with a tax‑free stipend to be determined. Responsibilities Oversee and supervise PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians) Bill within the hospital setting following facility guidelines Understand and comply with the respective state PT board’s rules and regulations Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care Understand adaptive equipment and incorporate it into patient care Evaluate patients and create a plan of care Modify the plan of care as indicated based on the patient’s condition Use the medical center's computer systems for daily tasks Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and insurance guidelines Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience; new graduates encouraged to apply BLS certification State‑specific licensing Ability to stand and walk for long periods and bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology Additional certifications may be required before starting the assignment Job ID #1419811.
