Job Description

This per diem Pharmacist position in the Brick, NJ area offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in medication distribution and patient care within a professional healthcare setting. The role focuses on ensuring patients receive the correct medications as prescribed by healthcare providers, while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately distribute medications prescribed by physicians and other licensed practitioners
Provide clear and informative counseling to patients regarding medication usage, side effects, and storage
Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
Foster strong relationships with patients by offering attentive and knowledgeable support
Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes

Desired Qualifications:

Valid New Jersey Pharmacist License
Experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate and assist customers
Detail-oriented approach to ensure safe medication dispensing and documentation
