We are looking for a motivated and career-oriented candidate with a proactive approach and strong analytical and Excel skills. The Senior Financial Analyst will work on monthly close, budgets and forecasts, key financial reporting, ad hoc analysis, and tracking of sports rights payments and amortization.ResponsibilitiesSupport month-end close activities to ensure timely delivery of financial resultsSupport FX accounting and reportingPrepare month-end reporting. Run system-generated reports and drill into details to be able to explain actuals vs budget and vs forecast variancesPrepare cash flow narratives and understand the functionality of how underlying activity translates into cash flow movementAssist the Mexico finance team with local statutory reporting and reconcile with the Workday trial balanceAssist with all audit and tax requests and gathering data for quarterly and annual requestsCollaborate with operational leads on various activities such as timely invoice submissions, ensuring proper coding, month-end accruals, and forecasting/budgeting deliverablesRun monthly depreciation and fixed asset roll forward reportsMaintain associated program codes for slate of programming rightsEnsure month-end activities are accurateUnderstand monthly trial balance activity and prepare balance sheet analysisPerform ad hoc projects and reporting as requiredQualificationsBA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another highly analytical/quantitative discipline3+ years of experience in budgeting and forecasting experienceStrong overall computer skills, including advanced Excel and PowerPointStrong organization skills with the ability to prioritize activities, manage timelines, deal effectively with pressure, and show deep intellectual curiosityAbility to be a team player with a highly collaborative and team-oriented work styleAbility to develop strong relationships with others and communicate effectivelyPositive attitude and solutions-oriented approachFluent in written and verbal SpanishNice To HaveExperience with Workday Financials, Reporting Tools, and Foundation Data Model (FDM)We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
