Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a Level 1 trauma center's respiratory care unit, requiring 2+ years critical care experience and RRT credentialing.

Details

• Respiratory Care unit at a 478-bed Level 1 trauma center
• Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required on a 12-hour shift rotation
• Floats to JW campus as needed
• Uses PB980 ventilators, V60 NIV, and F&P high flow equipment
• Documentation via Meditech
• Performs bedside bronchoscopy procedures

Requirements

• BLS and ACLS certification required
• VA licensure to practice as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) required if applicable
• RRT credentialed by the NBRC
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri placements)
