Your impact We're looking for a Construction Manager/Resident to be based in the Irvine, CA area who is excited about working on projects supporting our clients’ business and business practices. You will be expected to be able to work with clients and contractors with the knowledge of construction practices including change management, safety, quality assurance, scheduling, estimating, price negotiations inspection, and oversight of day-to-day activities. Responsibilities Work on construction projects including zero emission bus and bus facility infrastructure projects. Collaborate with clients and contractors with knowledge of construction practices including change management, safety, quality assurance, scheduling, estimating, price negotiations, inspection, and oversight of day-to-day activities. Develop and deliver on project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules to help our teams achieve client objectives. Multi-task effectively and communicate to tackle project challenges in a fast-paced environment. Support project delivery in Irvine, CA area as a Construction Manager/Resident. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. 12+ years of proven experience in Construction Management and civil inspection working on County Public Work projects. Knowledge of construction including materials, methods, plans and specifications; associated safety requirements. Knowledge of current and upcoming relevant local, regional, state and federal regulations governing design, construction, contracting, environmental, and safety measures. Experience with projects utilizing alternative project delivery. Experience supporting clients on multiple capital projects. Required to have and maintain a satisfactory driving record. Preferred Current and valid registration as a licensed Professional Architect or Engineer in the State of California Certified Construction Manager (CCM) Certification Proven experience and knowledge with Caltrans Transportation projects Salary: The base salary range for this position is $54.00 to $95.00 per hour; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
