We are excited for you to join our team.Job Summary:Supervises pharmacy site, services, and personnel assigned. Facilitates the development, implementation, and maintenance of systems and workflows. Ensures costs, including labor, pharmaceutical, supply, and other expenses are within budget. Performs duties of a managing pharmacist in accordance with all federal and state regulations and accreditation and certification requirements. Performs all duties of a clinical community pharmacist.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESSupervises staff, students and residents as assigned which may include: recruitment, orientation, training, performance management, staff development, counseling, disciplining, scheduling, payroll and conducting staff meetings.Serves as a resource to the pharmacy team in the provision of pharmacy services. Works collaboratively with pharmacy leadership to set performance standards for the pharmacy department and maintain pharmacy staff engagement.Prepares appropriate task assignments for daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilities to ensure all sites follow established workflow and procedures.Assists in the development of the pharmacy budget. Reviews monthly financial and human resource budgets.Creates and promotes a positive, customer service-oriented image of the pharmacy and ensures pharmacy meets a high standard of confidentiality in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).Actively assess the security of medication areas and the compliance of personnel with established policies, procedures, state and federal laws including record keeping.Maintain appropriate inventory of medications and supplies.Performs duties of a clinical staff pharmacist in compliance with all state and federal regulations.Creates and maintains positive, productive working relationships with site leadership and prescribers.Precept pharmacy students and residents, as applicable.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATIONPharmacy degree (Pharm.D; Bachelor of Pharmacy) from an accredited school of pharmacyEXPERIENCEOne year experienceREQUIRED PROFESSIONAL LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS Pharmacist - Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy Work Shift:Day Shift (United States of America)Job Type:EmployeeDepartment:3902000024 SSM Shawnee Hosp Retail PharmacyScheduled Weekly Hours:40Benefits:SSM Health values our exceptional employees by offering a comprehensive benefits package to fit their needs.Paid Parental Leave: we offer eligible team members one week of paid parental leave for newborns or newly adopted children (pro-rated based on FTE).
