What You'll Be Doing

As the Estimator / Preconstruction Manager, you will lead all preconstruction efforts and serve as the strategic bridge between concept and construction.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing conceptual budgets, detailed estimates, bid packages, and proposals

• Evaluating drawings, specifications, contracts, and project requirements

• Soliciting and analyzing subcontractor and supplier pricing

• Developing scopes of work and managing competitive bidding processes

• Working closely with project managers, superintendents, executives, architects, and clients

• Providing value engineering solutions that improve project outcomes and cost efficiency

• Tracking local labor trends, material pricing, and market conditions

• Maintaining and expanding relationships with Middle Tennessee subcontractors and vendors

• Supporting continuous improvement of estimating systems, databases, and historical cost records

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of commercial construction estimating or preconstruction experience

• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systems

• Experience working within the Middle Tennessee construction market

• Established relationships with local subcontractors and suppliers highly preferred

• Proficiency with Excel and estimating software platforms

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field

Compensation & Benefits

• $80,000 - $100,000 base salary
