If you are a Physical Therapist (PT) looking to become a part of a dynamic team, we look forward to meeting you!Physical Therapist (PT) Qualifications:Successful completion of the academic requirements of an educational program in physical therapy which has been approved for the educational preparation of physical therapists by the appropriate accrediting agency recognized by the Commission on Recognition of Postsecondary Accreditation or the United States Department of Education at the time of her or his graduation and have passed, to the satisfaction of the board, the American Registry Examination prior to 1971 or a national examination approved by the board to determine her or his fitness for practice as a physical therapistMust be licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice as a physical therapist in the state ofPrior experience in Physical Therapy, preferredMember of state and national American Physical Therapy Association, preferredProfessional attitude and appearanceProficient administrative and public relations skillsThorough knowledge of the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in physical therapyThorough knowledge of the possible hazards to patients during treatment and necessary precautionary and remedial measuresAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and to obtain their cooperation in the treatment prescribedAbility to establish and maintain effective relationships with the medical staff and other personnelAbility to understand, interpret, and adopt a physician's written or oral directions and to recommend treatment programs and outline expected benefits regarding physical therapyDemonstrate emotional stability in order to cope with the demands of both patients and employeesMust maintain patient and employee confidentialityKnowledge of Medicare and third party reimbursement, preferred
