Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - New Orleans, LA
Are you a CDL-A driver looking for an OTR position that offers regular home time and minimal physical labor? At American Trucking Group, we provide dry van routes throughout the Southeast with top-notch equipment and competitive compensation. Experience the freedom of over-the-road driving while keeping a consistent schedule that gets you home every week.
Home Time:
- Home every week for a 34-hour reset.
- Our routes are structured to ensure steady miles while allowing you to enjoy family time and manage personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Operate late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems.
- You can take your assigned truck and trailer home, provided there is safe parking available.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations.
- Minimal physical work required, allowing you to focus on driving and maximizing your efficiency.
Pay and Miles:
- Average earnings of $900 to $1,200 weekly, based on mileage and performance.
- Additional compensation includes detention pay according to customer policy, $12 per hour for layover after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free performance.
Running Area:
- Covering Southeast regional routes across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee.
- All tolls are covered via EZ Pass and toll cards.
