Sr. Data Scientist

• Data Science Cycle Ownership: Manage the entire data science cycle for the regional segment, including:
  • Data acquisition
  • Model deployment
  • Business consultation
• Areas of Focus:
  • Model deployment infrastructure
  • Data acquisition and engineering
  • Data pipelines and automation
  • Productive analytics
• Model Building:
  • Develop pricing models to assess expected risk and profitability
  • Collaborate with actuaries to ensure models meet underwriting standards
  • Present models to stakeholders, including chief actuaries and business leaders
  • Ensure models align with underwriting appetite and include buyouts

Requirements:

• Experience:
  • Strong background in insurance, preferably with domain expertise
  • Ability to build and run models from Day 1
  • Deep understanding of insurance to navigate complex modeling tasks
• Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Graduate degree in math or statistics

Required Skills : 3-5 years as a data scientist pricing model experience is a MUST working with actuaries Python/R for development Strong SQL
