Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 3 x 12-hour night shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | Shift hours: 10:00 PM – 10:30 AM | Includes call obligation of 2 weeknights per month (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) and 1 x 12-hour weekend night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical and procedural interventions
• Monitor and assess patient status during the immediate post-operative recovery phase
• Respond to changes in patient condition and intervene appropriately in a fast-paced PACU environment
• Fulfill scheduled on-call obligations, including weeknight and weekend night shifts as assigned
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient transitions and handoffs

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 18 months of PACU experience required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts including weekends and on-call assignments

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or academic medical center PACU setting
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills in a post-operative environment
