Our Med-Surg Physical Therapists fulfill the needs of patients, families, and the community by providing Physical Therapy services in accordance with one’s licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. They serve as the functional mobility and rehabilitation experts and are key stakeholders in patients’ functional recovery and interdisciplinary discharge planning. The Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is a 16-bed CARF Accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility located within GW Hospital and holds specialty accreditation in the areas of stroke and amputation.
