Clinical Nurse - Inpatient Surgery

Role Overview Provides direct pediatric patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established nursing standards. Key Responsibilities Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication administration. Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families, ensuring effective communication across care continuum. Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors. Maintains vigilance in a safety-sensitive role, working in a constant state of alertness. Qualifications & Skills Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Licenses & Certifications: Active RN license; prior pediatric nursing experience preferred. Experience: No experience required; less than 2 years preferred.
