A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Pharmacy Technician in San Antonio, TX (78238)! This Pharmacy Technician will be working for a respected healthcare organization and has career growth potential. Schedule Schedule (Training): Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Schedule (Post-Training): Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Location & Remote Options Onsite requirement: Must be able to work onsite at: Wilkes Barre, PA 18707 Potential remote/offsite: After approximately 4–6 weeks onsite, may transition to remote/offsite based on performance Contract Type & Working Hours Temporary (approx. 26 weeks), 40 hours/week Interviews Onsite interviews required Planned Start Onboarding Friday, October 2, 2026; instructor training begins Monday, October 5, 2026 Pay $17.70 per hour Responsibilities Perform 100% prescription entry / data entry, collecting and inputting prescription information per protocols and legal requirements Support insurance verification, including contacting insurance companies and resolving authorization/coverage questions Handle register transactions, including copays, payments, and accurate financial processing Manage front-end inventory (OTC meds, health products, related items) Provide OTC guidance and product selection support; educate patients on dosage, side effects, and proper usage Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws/regulations (confidentiality, labeling, controlled substance rules, etc.) Prioritize workflow, manage customer queues, and communicate effectively with pharmacy staff Assist with training/mentoring of less experienced technicians/support staff as needed Requirements Registered Pharmacy Technician in Texas (required) Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) (required) Verifiable High School Diploma or GED (required) 3–6 months pharmacy technician experience (required) Strong written/verbal communication and solid problem-solving skills Comfort with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail and interpret prescription terminology/medications Benefits Available Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Remote Work Requirements If/when remote: must have a secure, private home workspace and reliable hardwired internet (Wi Fi/satellite not permitted per job details) #J-18808-Ljbffr
