Engineering Technician

As an Engineering Technician , you’ll play a vital role in driving innovation and efficiency in our manufacturing operations. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced position focused on safety, process improvement, and automation — perfect for someone who loves solving problems and bringing ideas to life. What You’ll Do Support Plant Operations: Implement and maintain automation systems and new equipment to enhance efficiency. Lead Changeovers: Quickly program and configure automation systems during product transitions. Drive Innovation: Design, build, and optimize robotic End‑of‑Arm Tooling (EOAT) and automated work cells. Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and robotic issues to keep production running smoothly. Collaborate Cross‑Functionally: Partner with Quality, Safety, and Plant Management teams to introduce new technologies and process improvements. Your Impact Make Safety a Priority: Lead safety projects, engage in safety committees, and ensure compliance with all plant safety standards. Continuously Improve: Develop and implement initiatives to reduce cycle times, improve efficiency, and streamline automation. Advance Technology: Stay current on the latest plastics and robotics innovations to help our operations stay ahead of the curve. What You Bring Associate’s degree in a technical field or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred) Hands‑on experience with automation, robotics, and industrial machinery Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to read prints and design or build electrical enclosures PLC and robot programming experience (preferred) Proficiency with MS Office and excellent communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
