Requirements:

• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience
• Document-control or legal administrative experience preferred but not required
• Strong leadership and team-management skills
• Ability to train, mentor, and provide direction to employees
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage daily assignments and monitor team performance
• Comfort working with legal and organizational records
• Ability to review scanned documents for clarity and accuracy
• Familiarity with Electronic Document Management Systems is preferred
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive records

Job Duties:

• Lead a document-control team of five to six employees
• Assign daily tasks based on project needs and priorities
• Train and mentor document-control staff
• Track workflow and manage individual and team performance
• Oversee the preparation and scanning of organizational records
• Manage records within an Electronic Document Management System
• Prepare legal documents for scanning
• Remove staples, paper clips, and other fasteners
• Organize documents to ensure they are ready for scanning
• Review scanned images for clarity, completeness, and accuracy
• Correct or rescan unclear document images
• Save and organize electronic records in the appropriate system
• Monitor project progress and help the team meet established deadlines
• Protect confidential and sensitive information
