Workday Financials Analyst

Location: Remote. Client in Charlottesville, VA

Duration: multiple options - contract, contract to hire, permanent/direct hire

Apex Systems is working with a higher education client to build a team of Workday Financials professionals in order to finish the implementation and then provide post go-live production support and stabilization. We are looking for a Workday Financials Functional Analyst to join this team.

Reporting to a Workday Finance Architect or the Sr. Architect & Configuration Lead, the Senior Workday Finance Analyst is responsible for providing best in class service to an assigned Workday functional modules with a high level of technical skill, functional business process knowledge, and overall business acumen. In this role, the Senior Financials Analyst will support the client’s Accounting & Finance, HR, and Technology stakeholders in the optimization, on-going maintenance, and operational and technical support of all aspects of the Workday Financials ecosystem. In addition, this person is expected to take on a critical role of partnering with all operating areas of the the client’s Finance team to design, implement/test, and deploy key projects, integrations, and innovative solutions that leverage the Workday platform.

Qualifications:

• Candidates will have a High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree Preferred and 8 years of relevant experience.
• A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of the Bachelor’s degree requirement.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Workday cloud enterprise applications preferred, with 3 years experience in financial ERP systems required.
• The individual will be a self-starter, self-motivated, able to work independently, prioritize effectively, and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision.
• In addition, the individual will have a positive, service-oriented attitude and desire to see issues through to completion and excellent verbal, analytical and written communication skills.
