This position works closely with the Accounts Payable Manager and the AP team to ensure accurate and timely payments in compliance with company policies. The role operates full-time out of our Addison, TX office and plays an essential part in maintaining positive vendor relationships and supporting Cavenders financial integrity./ppDuties and Responsibilities:/pulliSupport the Cavenders Culture and drive our Mission, Vision, and Values/liliProcess accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner./liliMatch invoices to purchase orders and verify coding and approvals./liliReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly./liliProcess employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies./liliMaintain accurate records and documentation of all accounts payable transactions./liliCommunicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and issues./liliAssist with month-end closing activities, including preparing reports and reconciling accounts payable records./liliMonitor aging reports to ensure timely payment of invoices and avoid late fees./liliSupport audits by providing documentation and responding to information requests./liliAssist in maintaining vendor master data, including setting up new vendors and updating existing records./liliPerform other duties as assigned./li/ulpQualifications and Requirements:/pulliHigh school degree or equivalent/liliStrong analytical thinking and research capabilities/liliProficiency in Microsoft Excel Suite/liliStrong written and verbal communication skills/liliAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environment/liliAbility to interpret documents/liliAbility to understand the meanings of words and effectively respond/liliAbility to comprehend complex issues and communicate/li/ulpPreferred Skills:/pulli1-2 years of relevant experience./liliFamiliarity with accounting software and systems./liliStrong organizational and time management skills./liliCommitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy./li/ulpCavenders is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
