Details Acute care hospital with 150 staffed beds Cath Lab department performing coronary and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, permanent pacemaker insertions, and EP studies Daily caseload of 8-12 patients Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM No weekend requirement Call requirement applies No floating requirement per posting, though travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities Epic EMR experience preferred Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in Cath Lab required ARRT (R), BLS, and ACLS certifications required Fluoro Permit required; candidates with a pending permit will be considered if already applied for at time of submission License required if applicable RCIS accepted with 5 years of experience (preferred, not required) Community hospital experience preferred Experience with coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures, peripheral vascular procedures, and permanent pacemaker insertion Skilled in procedural responsibilities including equipment set up, sterile field maintenance, and accurate monitoring First-time travelers accepted Additional Information Perform coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmia procedures including diagnostic catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, and pacemaker/AICD insertions Facility recognized among America's 100 Best Hospitals for Coronary Intervention by Healthgrades and received the American Heart Association's Bronze Get award Scrubs provided for Cath Lab staff 30 hours of orientation required Local candidates accepted 50-mile local radius rule applies for local bill rate eligibility Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a travamsler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility RTO must be approved at time of submission; minimal RTO requests recommended to avoid delays Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) 2 supervisory references required, covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting Candidates must disclose any prior work history with the facility as a permanent employee, traveler, or per-diem staff American Traveler Job ID P-744314.
