Job OpportunityA reputable home health care provider is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their team. This position involves providing high-quality care to patients in their homes across various locations.LocationDanville, CAMartinez, CAMoraga, CAAlamo, CAClayton, CAConcord, CALafayette, CAOrinda, CAPleasant Hill, CAWalnut Creek, CAPittsburg, CADiscovery Bay, CAByron, CAAntioch, CABrentwood, CAOakley, CABethel Island, CABay Point, CAShift DetailsThis is a day shift position consisting of 5 shifts, each lasting 8 hours (08:00 AM - 04:30 PM). The role guarantees 36 hours per week, though the expected caseload includes visiting 5-6 patients daily.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide one-on-one therapy to home health patients, ensuring high-quality care and satisfaction.Manage a daily caseload of patients, which may include visiting up to 6 individuals per day.Complete timely documentation and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.Utilize provided documentation tools and ensure their return post-use.Experience RequirementsMinimum of 1 year of home health experience preferred.Experience with a range of patient conditions, including but not limited to post-operative recovery, cognitive disorders, and rehabilitation needs.Certifications and LicensesCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.Must hold a valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in California.Additional NotesCandidates should have their own transportation as the role may involve travel within a 50-mile radius. The provider offers free parking and adheres to IRS standard mileage reimbursement practices for travel.Dress CodeAny color scrubs are acceptable for this role.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to maintain effective communication in a home health setting.
