Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

RN – ICU

Shift: 3 x 12-hour Nights Guaranteed hours: 36 hrs/week

Assignment Details:

• Patient population: Adults and Geriatrics
• Unit type: ICU
• Avg. daily census: 6
• Rooms: 8
• Beds: 10
• Typical staffing ratios: Days 1:2–3, Nights 1:2–3

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years ICU RN experience
• Required certifications: ACLS and BCLS
• Required skills: ventilator care, IV starts, telemetry
• Charting system: EPIC

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients in the ICU to ensure quality care.
• Provide direct nursing care including ventilator management and medication administration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 24 hours
• RTO restrictions: Max 7 days RTO; no RTO allowed the first week of assignment
• Parking: Free
• Scrub color: Navy
