Assistant Director of Nursing

Job Summary Responsible and accountable for planning, organizing, and controlling clinical services in designated ambulatory departments reporting through Ambulatory Administration. Provides clinical leadership to the unit/area managers by developing and maintaining standards of clinical practice and participating on nursing and hospital committees. Functions as a member of the nursing leadership team with responsibility for the provision of clinical, service, quality, financial management/development, and personnel management initiatives, services, and outcomes for the efficient and effective operations of the designated Ambulatory departments. Minimum Qualifications NYS licensed/registered RN, bachelor's degree in a related healthcare field, and a minimum of five years experience with management responsibilities. Requires excellent written/oral communication, organizational, and leadership skills. CPR-BLS certification is required. Preferred Qualifications Master's in Public Health, Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Previous experience in Ambulatory Services is strongly preferred.
