About the Position

Job Title: RN Intermediate/Step Down Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pulmonary Thoracic Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within specialty License: Active RN License Certifications: Required AHA BLS & ACLS, Preferred NIHSS Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within specialty - Required AHA BLS & ACLS - Preferred NIHSS Description: Providing care for intermediate medical patients. Managing high-risk respiratory and cardiac patients. Caring for patients post-thoracic surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, and head/neck surgery. Caring for a variety of patient populations. Managing patients on RA to BIPAP or Optiflow. MUST work 2 major holidays and 1 minor holiday. Major holidays include Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. Minor holidays include the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve.
