Labor and Delivery (L&D) - Registered Nurse - Travel

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (12-Hour) | 36 Hours Guaranteed per Week | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Labor and Delivery unit throughout a 13-week travel assignment
• Work night shift 12-hour rotations with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Fulfill weekend requirements of 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
• Float mandatorily within the Women's service line; optional float to other areas of the facility as a sitter or resource nurse
• Complete and pass a proctored Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) course prior to beginning the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Must successfully pass the facility-proctored EFM course prior to start date (failure to pass disqualifies candidate from starting; retesting is not permitted for 6 months)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume Labor and Delivery setting
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Women's services environment
