Senior Software Engineer, Rust
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support the development of the OP Stack, the full-time Senior Software Engineer, Rust will own features through their entire lifecycle, build rigorous tests, and execute protocol upgrades while working remotely. Key responsibilities Own features from architecture to deployment and monitoring, collaborating cross-functionally for maximum impact Build rigorous conformance and adversarial tests to ensure compatibility of implementations Execute safe protocol upgrades and troubleshoot complex availability and performance issues Required qualifications Professional experience shipping production software and maintainable Rust systems Deep knowledge of Ethereum, including EVM, JSON-RPC, and distributed systems Ability to navigate ambiguity and effectively communicate complex design decisions Familiarity with op-node, kona, or Reth implementations is preferred Proficiency in Solidity for system-level smart contracts is a bonus
