Auditor, CT Full-Time Regular Uncasville, CT, US 4 days ago Requisition ID: 1566 Summary of Position: Incumbent performs financial, compliance, and operational audits in accordance with accepted professional standards. Documents pertinent testing and results for further evaluation by Corporate Governance Manager. Independently performs the planning phase on assigned segments of an audit. Acquires and applies new skills and techniques (for example: analytical, financial and process analysis) to audits and ad hoc projects. Develops and executes detailed audit procedures, including performing fieldwork, testing and data analysis on transactions, documents, records, reports, and policies and procedures ensuring accuracy and effectiveness. Ensures that all work papers are complete, adequately referenced and sufficient to support all conclusions presented in the reports. Provides objective and professional descriptions of findings in the audit reports. Develops recommendations for corrective action/improvement. Provides assistance to external auditors as requested. Develops accurate, concise, comprehensive and complete risk and control matrices and flowcharts.
