Materials Coordinator

The Materials Coordinator facilitates the distribution of supplies in accordance with hospital and departmental policy and procedure. Serves as a purchasing/supply resource to hospital staff, as well as other areas as assigned. Some major job functions include but are not limited to:

• Maintains and stocks assigned supply locations.
• Processes departmental requisitions electronically.
• Receives, processes returns, and maintains par levels.
• Replenishes code carts.
• Maintains supply database to reflect items additions/deletions and par level adjustments.
• Ensures organization and cleanliness within inventory supply rooms.
• Maintains all required competencies.
• Performs other Materials Management functions as requested by the Supervisor.
• Maintains annual safety and infection control in-services in addition to educational hours to meet requirements.

The incumbent may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned.

The base compensation range for this role is $16.12 - $23.39 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education. Please note that the pay range does not include any applicable incentive compensation programs such as shift differentials, clinical ladders, and other incentives that may be available for those in eligible positions.
