• Shift: Day shift 1x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) with 3-7 shifts per month; in-house call shifts available (12-hour or 24-hour)
• Hours/week: Part-time, flexible hours
• Employment Type: Contract, W-2
• Licensing/Certs: Active Texas Medical License, Board Certified, Texas DEA
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of full-scope midwifery practice with recent first assist experience (within the past 2 years)

What You ll Do:

• Provide full-scope midwifery care in a hospital setting, including labor, delivery, postpartum, and well-woman exams
• Support patients during labor and delivery, managing intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage cases
• Perform postpartum care and gynecologic exams across the lifespan
• Act as first assist during childbirth, maintaining high-quality care standards
• Support inpatient call coverage as scheduled and participate in team-based patient care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including 24-hour OB/GYN support and Level III NICU staff

What You Need:

• Required:
  • Active Texas Medical License
  • Board Certified in Midwifery or related specialty
  • Minimum 2 years of current full-scope midwifery experience
  • Recent first assist experience (within the last 2 years)
  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Preferred:
  • Experience working in hospital labor and delivery settings
  • Ability to manage OB triage independently
