2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (Tuesday - Saturday)

3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Sunday - Thursday)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Fleet Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on company-owned fleet equipment, including tractors and trailers. This is a direct hire opportunity offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and long-term career stability. No CDL required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and scheduled maintenance on fleet equipment
• Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical issues
• Complete minor and major repairs on tractors, trailers, diesel, and gas-powered vehicles
• Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records as required

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to operate standard transmission vehicles
• Previous fleet maintenance, diesel mechanic, heavy-duty vehicle repair experience, or technical/trade school training preferred
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and ability to pass annual PM certification requirements
• Ability to safely perform all essential job duties
• Must provide a complete set of hand tools
• Strong understanding of diesel engines, vehicle electrical systems, and mechanical diagnostics
• Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components and fleet equipment repair
• Proficiency with maintenance tools, repair equipment, and diagnostic processes
• Basic computer and electronic systems knowledge
