Position Overview:


We are working with a leading Contractor in the Baltimore, MD area to find a driven and ambitious Contract Manager. Our client is one of the leading mechanical contractors in the Baltimore / Washington DC metro area. Their construction experience includes a broad range of commercial and government projects, including data centers, hospitals, laboratories, wastewater treatment plants, convention centers, and hotels.


They need a well-qualified, energetic and goal minded Contract Manager. This position will work closely with the Project Managers, Project Engineers, Project Coordinators, and senior staff to ensure the projects are executed efficiently as possible.


This position is office based, and no travel is needed


Key Responsibilities:

• Review estimates, change orders, punch list, invoices
• Review Request for Information RFI, Submittals, Permitting
• Review contracts, Sub-contracts
• Ensure that Lien Waivers, and Certificates of Insurance are in place
• Track the completion of major tasks on projects
• Ensure that the project delivery matrix is current

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication & negotiation skills
• Experience with contractor management practices
• Ability to work in a team setting as well independently
• Prior construction management experience
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
