Labor and Delivery Nurse

Job Summary and Responsibilities $15,000 sign-on bonus available; current employee are not eligible. The Family Birth Center nurse specializes in providing care to mothers and babies during the labor and delivery process. Minimum Job Requirements Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license One (1) year of experience in Labor and Delivery within an acute care setting Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (all nurses whose home unit is Maternal/Child) must be obtained within six (6) months of hire Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (must be obtained within six (6) months of hire) Completion of Advanced Fetal Monitoring course every two (2) years (Intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring acceptable at hire but must complete the Advanced AWHONN course within one (1) year of new assignment to Labor and Delivery) or maintain the NCC EFM certification STABLE certification (for all Labor and NICU nurses) must be obtained within one (1) year of hire Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) Ability to read speak and write English Where You'll Work Dignity Health Woodland Memorial Hospital is Yolo County’s largest health care provider, serving the community since 1905.
