Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and security throughout examinations, clearly explaining each step with kindness and respect
• Engage collaboratively with radiologists and referring providers to ensure the delivery of top-quality diagnostic imagery
• Manage and maintain imaging technology, swiftly addressing any technical issues
• Document each procedure accurately and maintain thorough patient records within our electronic health system
• Commit to ongoing education in the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related area
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a similar organization
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
